Julinya’s talent was first recognized by Luis Serafico de Assis who in 1990 was the President of the Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (MAM), where The Biennale of Sao Paulo, South America’s most important art event, happens every two years.

Since then De Vince has had exclusive exhibits in major cities throughout the world (see list of exhibits).   She is also the recipient of important awards from Italy, the U.S., France, and her home country Brazil. 

As a teacher of fine art at her private studio in Southern California, Julinya has become a specialist in the ‘Old Masters’ Style’ of oil paintings. Her level of expertise is such that she has finally found that perfect state where she is able to paint any technique and style with complete control and confidence. Extensive research and study, coupled with expert knowledge of chemicals and pigments, makes it easy for her to combine under-painting and over-painting to create a variety of unique artistic works that are designed to last.  “Years of experience,” Julinya says, “makes the artist humble and submissive to the characteristics of each of the tools of her trade”. 

Her Baroque portraits in particular are similar to such famous artists as  Rembrandt and Peter Paul Reubens and each piece she paints for her clients is considered a treasure.

Julinya may be commissioned for portraits, special landscapes and reproductions. She also restores damaged master-works.
